ENVIRONMENT HEALTH SAFETY
29
Besides implementing operational environment testing by the law, we assess
operational risk exposure for new processes and new chemicals at the planning stage.
Within one month after the use of new chemicals, we hold meetings with related
department personnel to draw and implement an operational environment testing plan
(with sampling plan) in accordance with the guidance for operational environment tests.
Test items include chemical factors and physical factors. Chemical test items include
isopropyl alcohol and ethanol. All test results comply with the regulatory requirements.
In the physical test, the results of the test of operational environment CO2 in 2012-13
are shown below, all are superior to the regulatory standards. In terms of noise, hearing
protection measures are implemented in areas with environmental noise greater than
85dB(A) to ensure the workplace safety and health of employees.
