Weight Loss Activity: Calorie Calculation Spoon

EAP (Employee Assistance Program)
In 2013 we launched the Calorie Calculation Spoon weight loss activity in collaboration
with Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Chang Gung University. By calculating food
calories with the calorie calculation spoon, completing the dietary log, and receiving
professional dietician instructions, balanced diets were introduced to employees. From
this activity, employees learned more about food calories and improved their dietary
habits.
According to the WTO: “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-
being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
To take care of the physical and mental state of employees, we introduced the EAP to
reduce work and daily life stress and thereby improve the physical and mental of health
of employees through professional consultants with innovative service, knowledge and
techniques.
