Annual Health Examination and Follow-up Management of
Employees
As a result of plant site expansion and the clustering effect of customers, the number
employees and traveling machine installation personnel in the STSP has been increasing in
recent years. To provide employees with sound mental and physical care, we established
the STSP Plant Health Center in early 2013 and hired full-time health management
technologists to organize comprehensive health management and health promotion
activities, so as to improve the emergency medical treatment and health education services
for employees of the STSP Plant.
In 2013 we began the in-plant physician service on plant sites in northern, central
and southern Taiwan. In addition to medical consultation and physical anomaly case
management, full-time specialists conducted on-site inspections to assess occupational
safety and health and ergonomics and gave advice for worker selection and assignment, so
as to improve health management.
To improve health care for employees, we select major health examination items based
on the examination results and trends over the years for the annual employee health
examination.
As show in the examination anomaly analysis in recent years, we discovered that
metabolism and obesity are connected with seven of the top ten anomalies. Based on the
abnormal items and values, the health center provides graded management and follow-ups.
