CARING FOR OUR PLANET
Besides focusing on business operations and fulfilling operational goals, we identify
ourselves as a member of the global village and deeply feel the fact: the limit of external
resources and the value of internal resources. Therefore, we endeavor to pursue the
goal of zero disaster and zero pollution, aiming to protect the safety of employees and
contractors, to ensure the safety of customers while using our products or services
to support environmental protection, and ultimately to fulfill our corporate social
responsibility.
Upholding such a belief, we have drawn the following “environment, safety and
health” (ESH) policy: create a work environment that emphasizes safety and health while
protecting and conserving the valuable but limited resources on Earth.
To enforce the above ESH policy, we make the following commitments:
Surpass regulatory requirements and comply with international standards
Comply with or surpass worldwide regulatory requirements, international
conventions and customer requirements; capture international ESH trends; and
strive for compliance with international standards.
Respect life and protect employee safety and health
Elevate the scope and level of services; implement risk assessments; improve
response ability; extend health promotion and incorporate safety and health
awareness; and prioritize the wellbeing of employees.
Reduce the environmental burden through the promotion of green management
Follow international environmental protection trends; reduce the carbon footprint;
strive for energy saving, waste reduction, and pollution prevention; and
continuously promote green operations.
Implement a management system and improve performance continuously
Establish an ESH management system to continuously improve ESH problems
and raise ESH awareness; and support global ESH activities and fulfill corporate
social responsibility for sustainable development.
