For nearly 50 years, Hermes-Epitek has introduced the world’s most advanced semiconductor equipment to Taiwan, laying the groundwork for Taiwan’s advanced process industry. At the same time, Hermes-Epitek has invested resources in conducting fundamental research on front-end equipment and is committed to creating its own equipment. This has led to successful development of key semiconductor processing equipment such as the e-beam inspection systems, low-energy high-current ion implanters, ICP etchers, and metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) systems. Additionally, Hermes-Epitek continues to mass-produce SiC substrates and is focusing on developing quantum sensing and communication-related technologies to prepare for future technological advancements.
